I’m having a little problem with my DIY centerpiece. I fell in love with and purchased Gold Glitter Twig trees from Fortunoff after the Christmas holidays to go with the theme of my wedding. They came in 2 sizes 42 “and 32” and I bought half of each so that I could alternate the tables and give the room some depth. I know the pic is really not the best but they look GREAT with dim lighting and fit my theme really well because of all the sparkle. My wedding colors are Gold, Ivory with some deep Red accents. The plan is to scatter red rose petals and fake snow under the trees to cover the base and then to light about 6-8 votive candles underneath to get the a nice glow effect. What can I do to jazz up the branches I feel like I need to add crystals or flowers or something? Maybe tiny ornaments??TIA

Re: Tress Centerpieces (sorry long)
since one of your colors are red, maybe you can get some red hanging votive candles. Those should look nice hanging from the branches. I have also seen beads hanging from branches...again maybe some red beads

Honestly...I wouldn't add anything...they already shine and glitter and with the snow and candles it will be BEAUTIFUL! I like it just as is!

I actually bought the branches from Pier 1 - but need to come up w/ a base for them - let me know if you have any ideas - I am going to do the hanging votive candles - let me know if you get a great deal - they have some on jamaligarden.com

I'm also using cream, gold and deep red for my wedding... really nice colors!
I'd say if you were doing favors, perhaps you can wrapt them in a really nice red gift wrapping paper to finish your color scheme, but I believe the tree is nice on it's own. If you'd like, add some votives and candles around it, but get a decorative type of votive/candle holder that has rhinstones on it.
