Can someone recommend a jeweler there? There are so many!
I went the other day with FI to look at wedding rings, it was my first time there, it totally reminds me of Shoppers' Village in my home town, it's closed for years now and changed to National Wholesale Liquidators But Tri County brought back so many fond memories! I used to go there with friends after school, with my mom, I even got my ears pierced at shopper's village... aahh childhood

I HIGHLY recommend Crations by Nuha. We bought my e-ring (custom designed) there, as well we bought 2 pr of diamond stud earrings (1 premade-1 'custom' made) and 1 pr of opal and diamond earrings there.
We will be getting our wedding rings there as well. Joseph will not steer you wrong!
If you go up the stair (or evelvator) and go straight, they are the 2nd to last vendor against the wall on the left.

We like Gabriel jewelers. DH's family has used them for years, and my e-ring and our wedding bands are from them. They are very reliable and decently priced.

We got our bands & necklaces for the bridesmaids there as well. There is also another vendor, diagonaly across from them ( to the left when facing NUHA-- right by the escalator) that was very helpful when my diamond came loose on my e- ring ( which was from Zales)
I have gotten jewelery form other vendors there throughout the years & never had a problem.

Re: Tri County!!!
OMG! Shoppers village is old school. I used to go to W. Hemp when a friend moved there. TRI and Shoppers Village all had the same stuff. I was at Tri today and went to Barrons and there was a geat jewlery store there that had sterling necklaces and if I get my BM jewlery she was barganing with me. That place was packed so they must do well. If you go left for Barron's when you walk in go straight and it in the middle isle on the right. TRI County is on Hemp Turnpike 2 blocks east of the Wantagh Parkway.

Re: Tri County!!!
I went today to Tri County. I liked it but was quite upset with Barron's. The man that worked there was so nasty to me! I think I caught him at a bad time. Very disappointed. Joan's Jewelry was very nice to me. I might end up getting my tiara and veil there. Kim's children's wear had these beautiful flowergirl dresses for 60.00 each. A plus since I'm having a pair of twins and don't want their mom spending too much money. Has anyone had a bad experience with that man?

Not a really bad experience but not the best either. He kept disappearing while he was helping me and I ended up waiting a lot. Also, I can tell he got annoyed that I kept asking questions and that I left without buying anything. But I found the veil that I want some place else cheaper. I will probably go back there for my tiara.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I was there last weekend and dealt with the young girl, who was very nice!!

Re: Tri County!!!
i am also sorry you had that experience there!! i dealt with the man who works there and he was amazing.... he picked out my tiara to a T, helped me try it on, then about 10 others on too!! he was super nice and helpful! i came back the next day to buy the tiara, i brought a picture of my dress just to make sure it matched... he picked it out from my description alone and it matched perfectly!! it mustve been a bad day for him because both times he was amazing and not pushy at all!!!!!
