I'm curious. I always thought that trials are free? Silly me right? Who did you go too for hair and make-up?
Went to Mya Cosmetic Artistry for hair but she does makeup as well.
Was she expensive?

go to Lorraine Hunter in Saks Walt Whitman Mall at the Bobbi Brown counter...she does great makeup, uses from high end lines and her prices are reasonable...her trials are free in the store, but you do have to buy a little product (lip gloss/stick and or eyeliner...just some small things because that's the store policy)...she has a very light hand but can go as dramatic as you want...she's done photo shoots for real simple magazine too...
I believe most hair & make-up artists will charge for a trial. I'm using Embellir Artistry, have my trial next week. I have to pay for the trial but as long as I like it and book with her then she deducts the trial from the total cost.
haha I thought trials were free too! I mean isn't it meant for the makeup artist to prove themselves?!? why pay for something you may or may not like? that blows my mind...i went into the wrong career. haha!
$25 isn't bad. Did you like her work? How much is it on your wedding day and for your girls?

Thats not bad at all. I actually think its the girl who did my friends wedding. She did my make-up as well. But I'm not sure of her name.
