Trial Question

For those of you who have had your hair or makeup trials, did you let FH see you? We live together and I'm not sure if I should show him the looks, or take my hair down and wipe my makeup off before I see him so that the day of the wedding, it is a complete surprise?

I havent had mine yet but I never even thought of that! Knowing my FH he will never remember it if he saw it. I think to him an up do looks the same as a sock bun haha. I'm not really worried about it.

I let DH see my makeup because we went for our e-pics after the trial, but I didn't let him see my hair.

This is so true, lmao. I did show FH a picture of me in a veil with my hair in a bun, which I made when I threw my hair up quick at the wedding salon. He told me he liked the way my hair looked up with a veil. So I think the rest I might keep a surprise.

This is so funny this is exactly what i was wondering because I was thinking of getting my makeup done as a trial for the engagement shoot but was wondering whether he should see it.. He probably wont even notice! lol

See I think thats ok. I don't know if makeup is the same as hair... like getting a makeup trial and then having your e-shoot would be great and you can see how it comes out on camera. Him seeing you with a full blown updo/bridal hair-do I think is more drastic, ya know? Guy's opinion of makeup is 'she looks good.' lol

I haven't done my trials yet but I think I will let FH see me when the time comes. Definitely my makeup maybe not my hair lol . Although he probably wouldn't remember it the day of the wedding anyways. lol

He saw me after the trial because I did it on the day of our e-pics. However, my hair will likely be different because I won't be using the same person, and my make-up artist is doing my make-up a little darker. I personally wouldn't want him to see me the way I would be for wedding, even though he probably wouldn't remember.

FH told me he didn't want to see my hair or makeup. We live together, but he happened to be out that night, so I could turn back to 'normal' before he got home. I don't think he'd actually remember how I looked a year later, but ah well, now he'll really be surprised!

I haven't had a hair trial yet, but he did see my makeup....and there's not a shot in hell he remembered it the next day, nevermind in December!

I'm having a hair & makeup trial this Saturday. I will probably ask FH's opinion, but don't expect much more than a 'it looks good/bad' type of response.
