I know some of you said you haven't tipped during your hair/makeup trials, but then some did bc they were afraid the person would mess up on the day of lol. Well if you did tip or are going to for hair and makeup, how much??

I personally did not tip for the trial but I plan on giving my stylist a very fair tip on the day of.

For makeup, I gave a 20 dollar tip for a free trial, and did not tip on a trial that was 100, but money went to the principal, and I intend on a generous tip day of.
For hair, I'm going on a salon trial in a week, so will tip probably 10 bucks because cost of trial isn't going directly to her.

I still tipped 20% on the day of my trial. No reason to short them BEFORE they've actually done me up for my wedding. I figured an extra few $$s out of my pocket to keep them happy would be worth it.

I tipped $10 extra for my makeup and hair trials. But I was also happy with most of them. I honestly ould not have tipped if I was not happy...a tip is for service you are happy with
