My Fh and I spent all day and night yesterday and today with my dog in the Veterinary ER because he ate 5 pieces of gum. THere is a chemical called xletol (Not sure if spelled correctly) that is fatal to dogs. Learned that the hard way. His blood sugar dropped to a dangerous level and he was on IV sugar all night. So please be careful and keep an eye out on your dogs. The good news is he is now ok and we are waiting to pick Up Buddy at 6!!!!!
