Some of these dresses feel like they weigh 50 lbs, I have no idea how I'm going to dance in them.

No pics unfortunately, I forgot my camera. We went to Renates in Lindenhurst and though I've heard good things about them, they were not very friendly. Of the 5d dresses I tried on, I liked two da vinci's and one Maggie. None of them were 'the one' though.
I am kinda worried about the same thing.........i don't want the dress to be super duper heavy

They can take some poof out and that lightens it.
Yeah so many dresses are really heavy - its crazy - its hard to stand up straight

I totally agree on them not being friendly there.. I tried on my dress there but Im ordering from the new place in Babylon called village bridal and boutique. They are AWESOME!!!!
I have never tried on a wedding dress yet. I wonder what it feels like...
I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding, and Renate's completely screwed up the alterations on my dress. When I complained, they called the bride and told her that I was being 'difficult.' They were totally incompetant and unprofessional at that store. AVOID RENATE'S. That store is HORRIBLE.
My dress is so light it's silk taffeta it;s like nothing. I have pics in album.
