tried on some dresses...

at David's Bridal weeks ago just for fun i liked 2 but don't know if I will be going for them I saw this Maggie gown i love but I refuse to start buying a gown now...I think I want to wait til like march...just my preference no real reason what do you think?

I'm waiting a while, too. I'm afraid if I start looking 2 yrs before the wedding...I'll change my mind if I see something in a magazine that I like better. I'm going to wait until next year...maybe even early 2010...since I have until Nov

Once I book all my major vendors that is when I will try on gowns. But make sure you are absolutely certain before you buy your dress - you don't want to think you love your dress and than a few months from now find another one you love.

you are right, you will cry when it's the one..i know i did! and my second runner up i drew a tear..but i balled for the one!

Trying on dreses is a lot of fun. I know I have THE DRESS so I wasn't afraid to order it now thinking I'd change my mind.

I had seen my dress on the DB website for the past year and kept saying from the moment I saw it 'I want that dress!'
When I went to the store I was afraid to try it on cause it may not look as good on me... but I was wrong. It looked WOW! It was one of 3 I picked out to try on, it was the last one I tried on cause like I said, I was afraid of trying it on & being crushed cause it didn't look good on me.

Seriously spend the time now 'just trying on' so when you do go shopping for real, you will know what type of gown you are looking for

Jennifer - I just realized that your dress looks absolutely perfect on you. Does it need to be altered at all because it looks like it fits you like a glove!
