For those who are doing/did them, what size candle did u put in the holder? I put a standard tea light candle in, lit it, waited 10 mins, and the rim was sooo hot...
I don't wanna hurt my guests? What did I do wrong?

i got the ones with the votives all ready in it, i lit them and as long as you picked it up holding it where the candle was it wasnt hot, but if you picked it up on the way top, where it was just glass...OUCH!

Yea, it was the top that nearly burnt me.
I dunno, what if my guests accidentally touch the top? I really thought this was going to be a unique touch to my reception... I'm sad now

I am worried about that too, unless you have a BM or your DOC instructing folks on how to hold it...I might do that.

They are on a table just like placecards and guests take them to their table.
