Anyone get insurance for the honeymoon? Is it worth spending the money?

I did since it's hurricane season and he said if there was a hurricane in our location we can be transferred to a sister hotel in another area in Carribean. I thought it was worth it for honeymoon. Any other time i would never do it.

Normally I don't take it but since this was a huge trip and I didn't want any stress god-forbid something did happen, I took it, better safe then sorry.

I would-you're wedding is in November; you never know what could happen. Terrible storm the day you're supposed to go to the airport.
I NEVER get trip insurance; but FH i went on vacation last november and we purchased it. Only b/c we didn't want to risk anything happening knowing the time of year. Everything went smoothly so we may have wasted $69 each; but god forbid something went wrong; it would have been well worth it.
We went to st lucia in june and declined the trip insurance.
Just think of the thousands of dollards your spending on this...it's worth that extar $100 to cover it incase something is wrong.

we got it through our travel agent. it was an extra $300 i think, but the trip cost about $14k so its more than worth it!
its cancel for any reason insurance

Take it!! I learned that the hard way -- not on my honeymoon thank God. It is worth it.

were doing an 11 day cruise an an extra 2 days in puerto rico- we couldnt pick a place so we found a cruise that did 9 ports, haha i figured 9 places was better than one haha
lets hope i dont regret not doing one place haha i just wanna see the sunshineeee

Please get the trip insurnace!!!! My DH and I didn't have it and I was in the hospital a week before our honeymoon and I couldn't go. We lost almost 4k on our hotel in Aruba. I am still so upset about it because not only did we not get to go to Aruba, we can't go anytime soon because we lost so much $. Please get it!!!!
