Trip to David's Bridal in Westbury-Mission Accomplished!
I finally got a chance to take my MoH Kim (who most of you know is pregnant and due on Jan 28th) to David's to find a dress for her. My BM Alana was very easy (mainly because she's not pregnant..lol).
Kim was not easy to shop for as first she doesn't like the color that I want (imo tough on that one- my whole wedding is centered around my favorite color of purple). After telling her nicely there's no negotiation on the color we looked and looked and only found two dresses (she didnt' like my suggestions..lol) that she'd want to wear.. one of which was a maternity dress that I think is just ugly on her. The color wil be Victorian Lilac for both of them.
Anyhow we put both in their computer system so when the time comes she'll choose either one - the lady said that the latest that they can order them (because it takes 4-8 weeks to get them) is end of November so we'll see by then where she's at. I hope that she gets the one with the jacket (the strapless one is just to show what it looks like w/o the jacket). I really love the back of that dress bc it has a short drape on the back that makes it look like a train of sorts. I think this would be nice to distingush the MoH from the BM aside from the flowers.
I just have to keep on her about ordering the dress on time to get it in on time.
Another note I finally also chose my FG dress (thanks for the help on that one ladies) and I also put two dresses in their computer so if my FSIL doesn't like it (or if my FG doesn't like it) she has a choice of two- I couldn't find a pic of the other one but its pretty simple also.
