Triple Check!!
After putting off doing lots of things the last few months, and running into complications with some things, I got some stuff done over the past 2 weeks!!
Booked my photo booth, hotel block, and hair!!!
Went with Ovation for the photo booth!! A friend who got married last year used them, and was more than pleased. Ronnie is very helpful and responsive through email, which I always appreciate!
Hotel block will be at Holiday Inn Stony Brook. The rooms are beautiful, and after speaking with some pretty horrible and misleading sales reps at some other hotels, I was happy to work with Mary Ann, who was really willing to work with me on all issues I may have brought up.
I booked hair with Dusti from Fire Monkey! My trial went great, and she really nailed the look I was trying to achieve. I have wanted to get a trial from her for months, because I love her work, and it's exactly what I wanted. I don't want plastic-y hair, or over worked looks, and she really understood what I meant.
Now on to shuttle and makeup!!! Taking any and all suggestions!!
