Trista Rehn bid bachelorettehood goodbye when the reality TV star married Ryan Sutter over the weekend in Calif. Nuptials will be broadcast on ABC-TV Wednesday night.
Trista Rehn is 'The Bachelorette' no more.
With about 30 friends standing by - not to mention five television cameras - the toothy-blond physical therapist and her firefighter fiancee, Ryan Sutter, tied the knot this weekend at The Lodge in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
ABC picked up the $1 million tab for the wedding at the luxury resort.
Reality TV's first couple also got a check from the network, reportedly another $1 million.
The bride wore a hand-beaded Badgley Mischka gown; Kenneth Cole tailored the groom's tuxedo; 30,000 roses were flown up from Ecuador, and food from 14 countries was brought in.
And you can watch it all Wednesday night on the final episode of 'The Bachelorette.'
Rehn chose Sutter from a bevy of 24 bachelors who, under the glare of TV cameras, vied for her affections when 'The Bachelorette' debuted in January.
The firefighter from Vail, Colo., won the heart of the former Miami Heat cheerleader on the February finale, while ABC won good ratings.
'The Bachelorette' was a spinoff of ABC's 'The Bachelor,' on which Rehn was the runner-up a year ago.
She confessed she had 'developed really strong feelings' about the bachelor on that show, Alex Michel, and was devastated when he cast her aside and chose another.
So, may the couple live happily ever after, or at least not star in 'Divorce Court' in the future.
