Trouble...

So I am so upset. I am stressing over getting ready at a hotel.
I wanted to do the Marriott in Uniondale but I have about 15 people coming to get ready with me. I need space for all these people and they keep telling me to get a suite. Just to get ready in I am going to spend $500???
I wanted double rooms but my mom does not want to stay at the Marriott now and I don't have anyone to have adjoining rooms.
I could get ready at my dad's apartment but it is not that big. I could try and ask my cousin to get ready at her house but my parents are divorced and my mom is insisting on a hotel since she is not close anymore with my father's side of the family (my cousins).
Am I making sense?? I am so stressed out here.
Anyone getting ready at a hotel in Nassau Co??? I don't know what to do and times have to be set for hair, makeup, and photographer and I have no clue where I am getting ready?

At a cheaper place..since she said Marriott is too expensive. She was staying at the best western I think. I wanted to get ready at some place nicer though. Am I being selfish??

Listen, I'm staying the night of my wedding at the Wingate Inn in the bridal suite. It is roughly $300 bucks or so, quite large with a huge bathroom. There is a bar in the hotel, complimentary continental breakfast and the staff has been wonderful. Here is a picture:





There is also a smaller 'french door' suite which is just as gorgeous and around the $200 range:




Although I don't have a picture, their regular rooms are nice and I believe some conjoin. It's a good location right by Roosevelt Field and close to the Meadowbrook. And it's really very nice. I'd check it out.

I am most likely getting ready at the Wingate Inn too (the one that Leese posted)...They will let you tour their facilty if you want. What about the Inn at Fox Hollow?

Thanks so much for the info girls. FH is being a royal pain in the A...SS. He is insisting now that we stay at the Garden City Hotel. Does he think we have that much money? Kathleen looks like I will be into work that Monday since he wants to spend the night there.
I am so annoyed. We were thinking of going away but not if we stay at the GC Hotel. MEN!!
I am still confused with what to do But thanks for the info.
