Is anyone else having a hard time concentrating at work. I try not to do wedding stuff while at work, but it seems to be where my mind drifts. Maybe its because I am just in the middle of all the 'planning part' (picking a photographer, dress, video, flowers). ? I am planning to have everything booked before New Years (except the florist). I hope it will go away by then. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat?

work? what work? i find myself easily distracted too with wanting to do stuff for the wedding- don't worry!

It's a million times worse for me since I have very few responsibilites at work. I find it much easier to focus on work, when I actually have work to do. Make sense?

I am.. I don't know how many times a day I find myself doing my research at my job. It is crazy how many times I think okay I am gonna work now.. and then I find something else I want to check pricing on for the wedding.. My Christmas Shopping is even affected by my wedding planning.

Everytime I have a free moment, I'm on this website or another website regarding wedding stuff. Unless I'm really busy, I'm always thinking about what's next to do. I'm giving myself a break until the new year to continue planning, but I do feel the same way.

I havent worked since the day I got engaged I'm always lurking here. I'm surprised I havent gotten fired yet.

I, too, have found it hard to concentrate on 'other' things since the day I got engaged. It almost feels like a disease sometimes.

Me too.......it really does become an obsession. If we all don't get fired, I am sure they are going to block LI Weddings from our computers!

I've been awful, I'm actually getting behind, and I just joined. I just hate beign uniformed , so I research all the time, to know what my options areeven though I don't have a date booked yet--that's how I found LIW.I'm hoping I'll get sick of it when i'm knee deep in it & will welcome the distraction of work.
I doubt it though. . .

Ditto!!! This site is so helpful and addictive at the same time. I check it when I get to the office, when I go home. I even checked it this morning before I went to work this morning.
Talk about not doing any work...today I decided to start working on our wedding website.

I have trouble concentrating on work and then to top it off trying to concentrate on my school work ( I work full time and go to school 2 nights a week). I keep on telling myself that I will stop doing 'wedding stuff' for now and start again once finals are over, but always find myself looking at wedding stuff vs. hitting the books- and all of this is at work. I guess I better get to 'studying'...
