Trousseau

Is anyone putting together a trousseau?

I am NOT EVEN HAVING A HONEYMOON but I have spent a sick amount of money on a trousseau ... mostly underwear and cute little sets from trashy.com! I also got a few outfits for the romantic 'husband and wife' dinners and stuff that I have determined we will have.

Am I the only one?

I think I'm having a lingerie shower and I'll do a wish list at Victoria's sectret and maybe fredericks! If I don't get enough cute stuff then maybe I'll buy some more.

This is true, but the definition has expanded to include the clothing that a woman wears during her first bit of marriage.... a more modern meaning is the 'honeymoon' clothing and lingerie.
