they r going into labor , i dont want to have a baby . i heard contractions hurt 10x worse than pms cramps

UGH!!! I just looked at Fh and said I am not doing that and he laughed at me!

don't worry you might not have to, theres been reports done that show many doctors now are going for c-section...a couple of ppl at work brought this up and mentioned how almost everyone they know now is having a c-section. One thing the study said was that its a legal issue, there were women who would be in labor for 20+ hours and the doctors kept letting them go and the baby was being deprived of oxygen and there were complications after so alot of doctors are avoiding this now. I guess its also easier for a doctor to schedule a c-section so makes their job easy. Personally i dont like this new thing, and ive noticed many women now are having c-sections even for their first baby, unless i have to i think it should be my choice but women just go with what the doctor says.

yeah i dont like that situation. i would much rather have a natural birth if it allows for it. i am not going to just have a c-section for the fun of it. my mom had 2 and she said it is worse and so horrible...you are in pain and cannot really get up alot right after it and then oy uhave a scar. but my mom works at a pediatricians office (she is a RN) and the doctor said it isnt good for doctors to allow women to just say they want one because they dont want to go through the pain of natural birth. however for health reasons if it is necessary def get it but now alot of women are scheduling c-sections so htey can choose the day their child is born- COME ON NOW PEOPLE!!!

i know exactly, the recovery time for a c-section is longer than natural birth, and i dont want to take 2 weeks to really recover when i have a new born baby at home. I dont like this new trend at all now, and its not just women scheduling it but doctors are insisting on this, i understand legal issues but i say if it gets to a certain amount of hours then go for the c-section. I also think that doctors LOVE this bc they dont get woken up in the middle of the night, they schedule it at a time that is convenient for them and it takes alot less time and they know exactly how long they'll be there for.

In the Dominican Republic (where I am from) you get to choose if you want C-section or natural from the begining of the pregnancy, the doctor ask you what would you prefer. So when I move and one of my friends was having a a baby and last 20 hrs!!!!!!! and then the Doctor decide to have a C-section I was like that is just crazy for me.

well thats the thing alot of women now can decide to have c-section and like it was mentioned before many pick a certain date bc they like that date for their kids birthday. The thing is alot of women want a natural child birth, and having to do hours of labor is part of it lol...i read an article a doctor wrote and it said that most women have the same pregnancy and labor their moms had with them, for the labor part i hope so bc my mom had in 4 hours so thats not bad, she had the worst pregnancy and was sick 24/7 during the WHOLE 9 months so thats not something to look forward to lol. I do think my pregnancy will be harder than when i am in labor lol, i also have low blood pressure and many women with low blood pressure dont have great pregnancies and many are even on bed rest for a few months.

I hear a lot of celebrities are nowing oping for a C-Section, because you dont have to go through the pain ad the pushing, you can also schedule a date and time when youre baby is going to come out. to me i really dont like that idea, i think youre baby should comeout when its going to come out on its own and if you dont want to go through the pain and pushing the baby out, then why get pregnant? you know how babies come out? i was in labor for 17 1/2 hours and pushed for 1 1/2 hours, with the contractions coming back to back every 2-3 minutes but i was determined to get her out and not have my stomach cut open, c-sections scare me

I have seen this one a bunch of times. That blonde girl who is crying and gives the finger to the camera - she has the loser bf who has a new gf and crazy mom. She S U C K E D. Why his family even wnated anything to do w/that baby in the first place is beyond me! When two young kids aren't together, why do you need to be in this baby's life? Move on.
