just curious - what'd u think about the mtv series about life as a staten island girl. i had to laugh cause its what most of us expect, i wonder how people in kansas feel about it as they watch...lol

being from staten island..it was pretty embarassing ! how stupid! seriously who really cares if u want to move to manhattan or become an actress or you cant meet the right man !...i had to warn the girls on the 08 boards that i am totally not like those girls!!!!!

i watched it last nite, and i have been waiting for that show to air, it was hilarious...not as funny as the jersey shore idiots...that episode is sooo classic, i still quote from episode!! I wanna be a staten island girl Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

yeah i laughed at those girls - they are clones of the girls in my neighborhood ( howard beach)
you know what bothered me. . .when they were like 'i have to get off this island or i am not going to make it in life' like they are in some poor African village! they live IN NYC

I didn't see it, but it is so typical of MTV to make such of mochary of people - this time targeting Staten Island. Whatever Im not like those spoiled brats on that show, and believe me I know ALOT of girls on the island who dont fit the typical *Staten island* stereotype. MTV made their money- isn't that all they care about anyway?
