Yes, I agree that is why Trump said that also. And if thats the worst thing he can say about Kendra, so be it. I am so happy she won though! Tana was starting to get a little too cocky for my liking.

Poor Kendra, probably wanted to cry so bad when she won, but like a trooper, she held it all in.....Good for her though...!

What was up with Trump's complaints about Kendra's crying? I liked her snappy comeback, but then he mentioned the crying again later in the show! He didn't complain about Chris crying in the boardroom; in fact, he was nicer to Chris after the firing than he was to any of the other fired contestants. BAH.

I'm so glad Kendra won. I like her from the beginning. I love what she did with the Pontiac Solstice brochures! FH works for them and sealed up the brochure and revealed it the night of the show...Yeah...we're geeks!

trump HAD to find things that's 'bad' as a strategy to string the viewers along. i think kendra's great! she came up with teh best responses and totally blew my hub and i away! tana.. the arsenio hall gestures was tooooo much for me! i'm glad trump picked teh right person for the job. and kendra chose the better project also! if the mansion does well it'll def lead to bigger and better things!

i did wish they interviewed more of the fired contestants. like craig talking down at kendra.. craig should kiss kendra's *** now!

and chris.. there's a good kid deep, deep down in there but he's def a loose canon! he got arrested like a month ago! oye!

I think i read somewhere that Trump doesn't like shaking hands in general (germs, etc.)..

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.. But I thought he was one of those people..

this series of the apprentice did show one thing...it showed just because you don't have a college, you could still succeed in your chosen career

See, it kind of showed that all the non-college group did not know how to act in a business environment though. Tana had no clue how to handle pressure or a high-profile client. She might be a star at selling Avon in Idaho, but it made me see that that clearly doesn't translate to success in NYC! I wish a better group had been chosen. I think they chose who they did to make it equal in terms of college/no college. Last year's group IMO was much more talented in general.

I think there were also members of the college group who also cracked under pressure and didn't know how to act in business environments. Look at Erin, the way she kept winking in the boardroom. And Michael, with all his sexist comments. Verna totally walked away from her task and left her team to deal with her work.

Conversely, if you look at some of the non-college people, not all of them were train wrecks. Tara screwed up, but she still has a high-pressure job with the Port Authority. And Troy from Season 1 was one of the best of all of them. I don't think a college degree necessarily leads to the ability to handle pressure. Some of my coworkers are a great example of that.

Overall, though, these candidates were lame. IMO they were chosen to create drama more than anything else. Kendra was pretty good, but that's it, and in Season one I doubt she would have made Final 2.

Exactly my point. I think Erin was chosen to have a beauty queen (or whatever), the artsy guy...There could have been much better non-college grads (though that was silly since Tana just kept insisting she was 10 credits shy of a degree or whatever) and college grads out there. Trump said he hand selected the next group so they wouldn't be such duds. Kwame was so much better than Kendra and definitely Tana. Tana just made a fool of herself weekly and kept digging a bigger hole.
