I saw an ad for them in the LI Bridal Book (Magazine)... I picked it up at Fortunoff (was big and thick). I showed my FH the ad and he thought it was hysterical. I'll have to look into it too! That would be so fun!

Fi saw them at a hall we looked at (the hall has them) and we joked about them. We booked a different place, but told his dad about the trumpeteers who told his sis about them and she wants to get us them for us as our gift.

Melissa, you are going to have the trumpeteers at church or at the hall. If you have them at the hall, they might be a little be nosey for me.

Aren't trumpeteers the same as a string quartet, only they use trumpets?

I would use them at the church ceremony.

I think the Trumpeteers are the ones that stand outside the door. When I was Oheka they had a group they recommended .

My parents saw them at a wedding where they stood outside of the church, they loved them.

at the church. I dont know if she will get them for us because we're warning her they will be abused by our friends. LOL

But she thought it would be cute to have them play as i was getting out of the limo announcing i am here and then our organist can start playing the bride walking down the aisle song.

I used Royal Brass for my wedding and they were awesome. I had a whole x-mas theme and the trumpets played before while guests arrived and mixed in holiday songs (at my request) with different marches. Then they played as I arrived and throughout the entire mass. They also stayed for 15 minutes after the mass and played during the receiving line. A lot of people thought it was a very nice touch and something different to do, especially for the time of year my wedding was. Let me know if you want more information!
