trumpets at the gate?

Has anyone been to a wedding there, had a wedding there, or anything? I fell in love with it and it's perfect for my wedding, but not knowing its 'reputation' (though it doesn't really have one - it's only like 2 years old) makes me just a tiny bit hesitant...

I have done searches of the site and only found one post on it. It is for small weddings so there may not be that many LIW brides who are familiar with it. But if anyone knows ANYTHING or has any opinions, advice, etc., I would appreciate hearing them sooooooooo much!!! Thanks!!!

I thought the pictures on their site are VERY deceiving....

I have been to the restaurant they own next door...trumpets on the bay and the food was amazing and the staff was great. (that is the restaurant FH proposed at!!)

We were thinking it would be cute to have our reception there, but they only hold like 120 people.

Yes, I have been there, and I actually really liked it. I think the only thing about the pictures on their website is that they may make it look bigger than it is. Since I am having about 70 people it is perfect for me (any bigger and we would be lost in the room). I like it because the restaurant is willing to do anything we want and it really is good food.

But again, I am nervous booking somewhere when I don't know anyone who has been there. I wish i could find someone...
