TRUMPETS OR BAGPIPES?

I would have loved to do bagpipes! They are different, and I honestly think it sounds cool! We are doing trumpets because fh thinks bagpipes is a shout out to my family, and would mean nothing to his...

Thanks! We think they are cool too and that is why we want them, but FH's family is Italian and Russian. Mine is Italian and Irish. Also, are Bagpipes are often associated with funerals?

I have seen them at A LOT of pd funerals....but honestly I dont think bagpipes= funderal...If you are a sex and the city girl, watch char's first wedding...listen to the music as she walks down the aisle, its amazing, thats what made me want bagpipes

I am scottish, so I say bagpipes but that is huge for me my Grandpa actually played for many years in the scottish army band. Do you have a tie to either instrument because I think thats most important
