how much of a discount is usually offered at trunk shows? like 10%? 20%? more?
what are the other benefits of going to a trunk show?

it is usually 10-15% off
the other benefits i can think of is that you get to meet the designer and many times they bring new things in

You get about 15-20% off. And you meet the designer and their associates and you get their opinions and recommendations. I really love trunk shows. When i went, it made the whole experience a little more personal.

well usually the trunk show is just that day or 2 days sometimes a week so depends. But in order to get the discount you do have to purchase it while the trunk show is going on.

it depends some samples will be a 6 but i remember seeing alot that were 8-10 i would say 8-10 was more average of what I saw.

Sometimes they are also from the fashion shows or shoots. I squeezed my a$$ into a size 2 for some of the dresses I tried on, and I couldn't close the back hahaha, so I was clipped in place with this thing that looks like a bra strap. It all depends though on where the dress is coming from. I tried on size 10/12 also. But they clip you. Last night when I took my grandma to see the dress, the sample they had was shorter than the one I originally tried on. So the proportions were slightly off, but I got the idea.
