Did anyone go to one to buy their wedding dress? Are they worth going to and do you really save a lot?

I bought my dress at a Maggie Sottero trunk show at Centereach Bridal Suite. They gave me a 10% discount.

if you definitely know you are getting a certain dress and they have a trunk show coming up, I would definitely order it at the trunk show. Just think, 10% off could possibly cover the cost of alterations

exactly. I didn't get my dress at a trunk show BUT my mom talked the lady down $250 which is what their alterations cap at, so it paid off.

I would love to find a Jim Hjelm trunk show, there's one dress in paticular that I want to try on soooo bad!

here are a list of their upcoming trunk shows in New York - see if you can make one of them
trunk shows defiantly give you a nice discount...everything helps when its a big purchase. But if you are looking to get a Jim Hjelm go to Kleinfelds...if you are serious about buying a dress but say its a little more then what you were expecting to pay you can sometimes get your consultant to give you their discount.
Which Jim Hjelm are you looking at????? I love so many of them!!
