I keep hearing this term used...can someone explain it to me? Are they worth it, and how do you find out about them?
A wedding salon will host a specific designer, that designer will come and show his whole line. If you chose to purchase something from that line you usually get anywhere from 10-15% off on the dress. I purchased my Christos dress during a trunk show at Kleinfeld's and received 15% off the dess which came to $495, that is a big savings. The way I heard about it going to the designer websites, and if you call various salons they will tell you which ones are coming up. It is definitly worth going to if you are in love with a particular dress.
