Trying on a dress tomorrow

Im trying on the Melissa Sweet MARI tomorrow

i have an appointment at priscilla of boston tomorrow afternoon - am i out of my mind or what?!?!?

i should have asked about the price - on brides.com the dress was listed from 1,000-1,500 and on PoB website it said below 2K

im nervous that i might like it they told me the sample is a size 8 though - i hope its not hard to tell on me because of my size - its going to be so long on me! like a regular wedding dress

thats why i am almost afraid to go try it on - because of the price! its so expensive! it could end up being more than my wedding gown i dont know how my FH is dealing with me right now ill def try to get a picture if they let me....i only will get it if i love it though - because im only going to be wearing it for a short time - but since this wedding is becoming a circus i figure if i love it, why not otherwise i have plenty of time to keep looking....

im going to a PoB in NJ - im nervous! i hope they are nice....i dont even want to see any regular wedding dresses - because i have mine already and i just dont want to see any and be tempted, ill need to bring a blindfold!

thanks so much for showing it to me!

i hope it looks nice in person - when i shopped for wedding dresses everything i liked in a picture i didnt like on myself - im hoping that doesnt happen with this one!

ARe you going to the one in Short Hills? My BM dresses are POB and one of my BMs is from that area so that is where she is being fitted. She said they treated her really well there too!!

I know exactly what you mean with the pictures - I originally was in LOVE with the Melissa Sweet Sadie. Tried it on and was literally like HUH!??!? It didn't even seem like the same dress!! Hopefully when you see it, it will be a hit rather than a miss!!!!

Also - did you check out Monique Lhullier? That short lace dress Britney Spears wore to her wedding we Monique Lhullier!
