trying on dresses!!!!

I just made an appointment for tomorrow at 6pm to try on dresses at a shop called Suky here on the Main Line in PA. I'm soooooo excited!!!!!!!!

ETA: since we recently relocated to PA and my family lives in NY, I'm trying them on all by my lonesome is that weird?

i have a few styles that i love in my album, but i really want to be open minded and try on things that i wouldn't think to choose on my own! i think i have an idea of what silhouettes will work best with my body but i guess you never know til you try them on!

How exciting!!! your right about having an open mind. The dress I bought and fell in love with was a dress completely different from what I thought I would like

that's so exciting! and no... its not weird. i've done it too, and the ladies are always so nice, it's still productive

btw... how are you going to transport your dress? for the wedding?

GREAT question. i actually haven't thought a licking about it. i figured i'd cross that bridge when i came to it. do you suggest just purchasing a dress in NY? the only reason i'm trying on gowns in PA is b/c i'm getting anxious and really want to experience it already!!!

i'm about 2 hours away from my folks place and 3 from FH's family. from Jan-April we are RARELY coming to NY b/c FH works Mon-Sat during tax season. i'll be coming up much more after tax season!!

either way its not that far so I don't think it matters where you get the dress. You have to put it in the car either way. So if it's for a 1/2 hour or 3 hours I don't think it matters.

not really, we only know our coworkers so far, and i'm not even inviting them to the wedding so i couldn't take any of them along!! heheh
