Trying on weddings dresses today for the first time... i feel like i should be excited but i'm afraid im just going to look fat in everything or just look weird because .. well its the first time i'll ever be in a wedding dress... and its just strange. I dont know why im stressing over it!!! Anyone else go through this?

I felt a little stressed out at first too. I kept thinking 'is this weird?' But, as soon as I had my dress on it felt perfect and I was so happy.
You will look beautiful. Good luck finding THE dress!!

i stressed too, but then when i started trying them on it all went away and i had the time of my life. you will look beautiful - have fun!!

I was stressed a little bit but was very excited. The first dress I put on it was just so weird to see myself in a wedding dress but after that initial shock like 'wow I really am getting married' I had so much fun!

Have so much fun!! To me this was the most exciting part, I wish I could experience it all over!
I was super stressed, especially since I'm not where i'd like to be weight wise. Remind yourself that these dresses are designed to flatter so many shapes! And there's so many dresses out there, you will definitely find one that makes you feel like a beautiful bride. Try to have fun with it :)

I had such dress anxiety at first too! So much so I put off going dress shopping! But, after my first appointment,I realized that (1) eek I'm getting married! and (2) they are all designed to make you look beautiful !

I felt the same way! i took a few dresses to get excited and to get over that some of the samples didnt close. BUT it did get fun. I went shopping 3 times for my dress.

wow i'm glad I wasnt the only one!!!!! I was super stressed I just found my dress last saturday.. but as soon as it was on I knew!!!! and it was amazing! I cried

Aww it's normal to be nervous, but this is such a beautiful experience!! To me this was such a surreal moment..like OMG I'm getting married!! Enjoy it!!
