Trying to book a mini-moon

I found a cruise we want to go on...

7 day western caribbean.... it leaves out of Miami and goes to the Cayman Islands, Roatan Island in Honduras, Belize and Cozumel... it's on Carnival...

I have no idea how to go about booking this thing... How do I pick a room? How do you know the different between all of the rooms on the deck... like say we decide we want a balcony room... ok...there are like a million different ones I can choose from... how do you know which ones are ok?

yayy!!! in belize go to banister caye-it's beautiful!!

u can book it online, or u can call them up..i like being on the highest deck possible, bc i feel like they're the most centrally located to the dining and stuff on ship..u also might want a room by a staircase/elevator, because sometimes they can get to be semi maze like

ugggggg can we be in ny for like a month straight at the same time? please?

I actually am really good friends with a cruise planner...she only does cruises and she planned our HM for us as well which is a Mediterranean cruise. If you'd like I can give you her info and she'd gladly help you...

Try to book in the middle of the ship. On Carnival in particular, try to go as high up as $$$ will allow you to go b/c, in my own experiences on Carnival ships, the younger, louder crowds tend to be lower on the ships. JMO! You should call before you book though b/c sometimes they have deals that don't show up online. Good Luck!!

ETA: Before you book, be sure to check the airlines for flights in and out of Miami for availability & pricing. At least, that's what I do when I book cruises.
