If I should book a trial with Roseanna Amador. Her work looks amazing and she is available for my date but a hundred bucks for a trial and at least 200 day of seems steep. Does this sound like pretty standard pricing for bridal hair? Thanks

Re: Trying to decide...
That seems like a lot. I'm paying $150 and that includes the trial.

I'm paying about half that for Jenn the Hair Genie and her work is absolutely amazing. Pics in my album.
Her trial is only $50.

Re: Trying to decide...
I went on 4 different trials and no one could do my hair like she did. I have a lot of very fine hair, and I could never get my hair in an updo without it looking like a huge pouf. She succeeded when everyone else failed.
I wish I didn't waste my time with other hair vendors before booking her.
She's worth it, in my opinion.

I think that is a pretty standard price. I would make sure that you had your headpiece before the trial though that way you can be more precise with how everything will look. I wasted $150 on a hair trial. I am NOT happy about it.

Re: Trying to decide...
Thank you all so much for the responses. I've had two trials and they were decent I just wasn't really completely satisfied---I just can't afford to keep going on these trials without booking. I think I may give her a try....seems like she might be worth a little extra money.

Re: Trying to decide...
its about right. there are def people who are cheaper!
I think roseanna is very talented and def knows what shes doing, everyone but me has been super happy with her. and even though I wasnt happy with the look she did, I still rec her but I think she is great at what she does. she will do a few looks if youre not happy and she has tons of veils and headpieces to try out
I contemplate going back to her for a 2nd trial but can't swallow the additional price yet
you should ask whoever you had trials with what the price of a 2nd trial will be, maybe it will be cheaper. If you are somewhat happy and just need some tweaking then it might be worth it to just go back to the same girl
