Trying to Decide on a DJ

Ok ladies -- need some advice. I'm trying to decide on a DJ so I'm wondering if any of you have work with these three before and can give me some background.

After Hours Entertainment (Hubby met one of the guys randomly and really liked them)

FM Entertainment (won $$ off a package at LI Weddings Show)

Just for the Record Entertainment (preferred vendor at our venue)

I haven't booked with any of them. I am booked with LiSound. A lot of girls on here like After Hours. I personally did not havea good experience with them and found them to be very unprofessional. I suggest you make a couple appts and decide who you click with most :)

We booked with FM on the spot. We went to a private showcase with Frank. Their prices were great, we loved the DJ mike and we clicked with him immediately! We also got a steel drum for cocktail hour. I would definitely recommend them

Above and beyond was awesome at a party I went to, I'm meeting with them, entertainment unlimited in lindenhurst and I got a great quote from Prime Parties entertainment. Good luck!

Go with FM Frank is awesome to work with. I had some very specific ideas about songs and he followed every thing to a tee. He is so great that we booked him again to do my daughter's sweet 16.

i met with both after hours and FM.. we liked both and eventually went with after hours bc FH was feeling them more.

i initially had a better vibe about FM, esp since i felt the unprofessionalism with AH that kristin mentioned above.. but since we made our decision for AH ive gotten nonstop emails from FM, i dont even open them anymore. you would think by this time he would get that i probably booked another dj.
