I talked to my wedding planner today. We are trying to narrow it down to which country we are interested in. She told us not to do the Dominican Republic. She recommended Mexico for us. Then we will do our honeymoon in Costa Rica. I really liked the Rockhouse in Negril, Jamaica but she advised against that as well. She said it is beautiful but it's not all inclusive and it's very small. Some of our guests may get bored and it's dangerous to run around Jamaica outside of the resort areas.

how did you find the wedding planner, that is what i am having a hard time figuring out, i want to do the Grand Bahama Islands, please let me know how you found wedding planner

I registered with Destinationweddings.com It only cost $50 but they use that as a deposit for your travel when you book. They have been very nice so far. They will help me pick a location and then recommend someone local if i want. Good Luck!
