Trying to get to 200!

How about all you ladies tell me how you came up with your wedding date.

I chose ours becasue we met in April, his parents wedding ann is in April, and my parents started dating in April. the 12th was just kinda in the middle of the month.

Easy - we both loved the month of Oct and wanted a fall wedding! So FH told me to pick a weekend in 08 that worked for us!! I just had a good feeling about 10/18/08 and liked how it sounds!!

Our date was originally April 25, 2008. We chose that date because i wanted spring wedding. But once may comes it gets uber expensive. So we were having it the week before May came.

But now we pushed back the date and its November 29, 2008. That is our dating anniversary. On our wedding day, we would be dating 5 years

Tip: Play the games, they help a lot to get your numbers up

I knew I wanted a spring wedding and I was gonna go for the 17th since its our anniversary date (6.17.03) so I chose May cuz in June the 17th is a Monday. I realized it would be too expensive to have it on 5-17 cuz its a Sunday so my coworker suggested a holiday weekend where I can have it Sunday and noone has to work the next day. So thats how we got 5-25, Memorial Day weekend.

Love the Spring but had a budget so we chose March which is technically Spring time but not Spring money--had to be after Easter cuz my step dad is in the flower business-so its the sat after Easter

How did FH propose? In Magic Kingdom during the fireworks in front of Cinderellas castle. He knew it was my dream proposal and Im so happppy he listened lol

How did FH propose? New Years , about an hour after the ball dropped. We were about to go to bed, and he flicked the lights on and had the ring in front of me and asked. It was 'so us'
