I'm not trying to get pregnant or anything yet, but i have been taking prenatal vitamins and they are amazing! My hair and nails have been growing like crazy, i love it. I wanted to grow my hair for the wedding because i dont how i want to do my hair and it grows so slow. You should try it if you are having my problem:)

I have a newborn son, and prenatal vitamins did wonders for both hair and nails. Mine were prescribed of course, and I still take them, but over the counter will do just as good, except for the lack of iron. Thats about it! Good Luck girls

lol I don't think they increase fertility at all. They just have the nutrients that a growing fetus needs and also what a mom needs for her own body.

lol biotin also works to help your hair and nails to be stronger. Most b vitamins are good for that and they're usually found in protein (meat, soy etc.).

to biotin or prenatals? They're vitamins so most people won't get side effects.
I've never heard of vitamins making anyone break out. I've heard of upset somachs sometimes but that's more of an iron pill problem.

i think i am going to try this - i should be taking a multi vitamin anyway
but i have to warn like everyone in my family and FH a million times first. . . if he finds them before i tell him . . .he may go into cardiac arrest . . . and i dont even want to know what my mom would do!
btw one thing with those pills is that they can make you constipated ( sorry if TMI) but that may be the prescription ones with the extra iron. . . .

Definitely think it's the extra iron ones. I was on iron pills before and the doctor told me they do that too.
