Trying to help my FMIL out...

Trying to help my FMIL out...

and would love if anyone can help me think of the following:

-A restaurant for a rehearsal dinner that is nice, but not over the top in terms of price (we are having a lot of people for dinner)...

-should be somewhere in proximity to Lynbrook/East Rockaway/Hewlett/Rockville Centre area

I had suggested my fav. restaurant Angelinas..but the prices ended up being a little insane so I am welcoming ANY suggestions! Thanks so much for any help!!!

Yeks! I would help but I don't live in that area. If your wedding is during a warm part of the year I would suggest having it at someones house, maybe the back yard with a tent. But I'm sure someone here will have a good place for you.

What about Boun Giorno on Merrick Road? Tre Bambini on Sunrise? MacArthur Park in RVC?

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but I'm having my brides maids lunchoen at Olive Gardern during lunch time, which is unlimited soup and salad. Sorry its kinda weak, but its the best I can think of. I really don't know your area at all!

Stacey..I forgot about MacArthur Park, I will check into that!!

Emberlynn-I love olive garden and would have it there in a second but the closest one is too far from my house. But thank you for that recommendation!!

Have you thought instead of doing a dinner, why not morning reheal brunch. Its also better not to have the Reheal the night before the wedding, you need your sleep. Why not have the reheal two days before the big day and the next morning everyone meets for brunch. Its kinda orginal and very easy on the purse.

Nick D'Angelos? Maybe they could set up a group rate fixed price menu?

Alias Smith and Jones
2863 Woods Avenue
Oceanside, NY 11572

It's really on the edge of Rockville Ctr.
I haven't been there in a couple of years, but it was comfy, tasty food and nicely priced.

Sole in Oceanside has great Italian food and a room off to the side for private parties.
