Trying to keep a positive look on the wedding so any girls who made their own pockefolds...

Help Okay it cost $1.50 per pocketfold(metallic)and I figure I need about 80 of them for the amount of people Im inviting. What Im thinking though is what if I bought cardstock and made the pocket fold itself on my own. Is it possible without it looking like crap? If so please tell me how, what you ordered and post a picture please.
TIA

We used Neenah paper as recommended by another bride on here. The cost for the paper was about 44 bucks but I happened to order extra paper. Alot Extra!

I used this brides thread, it is pretty detailed.

there are a few threads on here with directions that are super helpful.

also, I got my pocketfolds on Katespaperie.com and saved A TON of money b/c I was flexible with the colors.
I got them in packs of 25 for less than $18 each
