TTC this summer

After being on medication for almost a year, drs. are finally weaning me off.
DH is ready to TTC as soon as my system is 'flushed out'. I am ready too, however, am very nervous.
I am nervous cuz I dont want to get sick again but I am SO excited about being able TTC.
My question actually has to do with a wedding. If DH and I TTC and are lucky enough to concieve, I am in a wedding in October (I know its a long way off)..Were any of you PG in a wedding party? I honestly think we will start this summer, so in Oct. I may only be 3 months pg.
What do you think? Ive waited 5 years. I want my body to readjust and all I can think of is the wedding.

Your putting to much pressure on yourself!! I wasn't PG in a wedding party, however I know with my son, at 3 months I barely showed, but I was blessed and didn't have sickness. But if you get PG right away, hopefully that will be the end of your first trimester.
You have to do whats right for you, I am glad that you are well now and your Dr says its okay to start. If it was me, and I wanted it badly which it sounds like you do, I would go with your plan of starting this summer. You never know it could take a few times, it doesn't always happen right away. I just found out I am PG after 7-8 months of trying!

I agree, don't put so much pressure on yourself. Let's say you were to get PG this summer... that means you'd only be about 3-4 months PG when you are in the wedding. This should not be an issue at all. TWO of my BMs were PG In my wedding LOL They are both Due in July so they were about 3 mos. pregnant. We made sure the bridal shop knew they were TTC so they ordered a bigger dress. Then, after they got PG they had a couple of extra fittings to make sure the dress fit them well. It wasnt a problem at all. One of my BM was sick to her stomach most of the time so she had to keep a small bag of cheerios under her bo-k LOL

Don't worry about the wedding and being PG, just do what you have to do and everything else will fall in to place!

Like I said, I am nervous, but I am going to start focusing on being excited of getting my life 'back to normal'.

I was pregnant and in my friend's wedding party but I was only 3 months...it really wasn't that bad. Don't put too much pressure on yourself...
