Thanks for all your input yesterday, your answers were cool!

So I'm well rested and feeling great this morning, a lot of it has to do with my FH letting me be lazy last night. We live together and he got to work from home - thus meaning sleep in yesterday. I thought it was sweet of him to do the errands we needed to do last night after his RCIA class instead of have me do them while he was in class. Mind you, it was snowing. I think doing sweet things and 'picking up the slack' so to say is really want makes our relationship work so well because it's about teamwork. Sometimes it's more me than him and vice versa....So my question is:

What is the sweetest and most thoughtful thing that your FH did for you yesterday or within the past couple of days? and how did you thank him?

Do you think you and your FH are really a team?

In the past few days? Hmmmm

He did all my laundry sunday andgave me a back massage.

Yesterday he came home and we played w the dogs. Considering how adamant he was against getting linkin its pretty funny :)

hah as minial as it may sound, he fixed my car

and we went to his christmas party on sunday at the firehouse and even though he was working, he still made an effort to be w me, and then took me out for a drink after the party so we could spend time together.

i heart him

Since FH is in Ithaca, and I am in DC- we don't get to see each other very often!

But this week he apologized for not having the ability to be as involved in the wedding planning as he would be if he were here and that he would do whatever we need him to do over Christmas because he doesn't want me to feel stressed.

Hm, specific to what he did yesterday, he made us both lunch - it was a hectic day for me at work so he knew I couldn't really go out to get lunch so he packed us lunch. I also didn't get home till 9pm, so while he was at home, he ended up doing the laundry, folding it, doing the dishes and cleaning up the house, so that when I got home, I could just sit down, have dinner, and rest. He does these kind of things a lot which I truly appreciate! A very minor thing, but the other day I was experimenting with the card boxes, and he was watching a movie. He saw that I was having some 'issues' assembling it lol, and he stopped his movie and came to help me out for a bit. He's very thoughtful all the time and always considers me when he does things.

I think we're an amazing team - we respect each other a lot, and understand how we're feeling. We always try to help eachother out, and since we've been living together for over 2 years, we know our 'responsibilities' in a sense, and our strengths/weaknesses. I can't wait to continue being with him for the rest of my life

We also live together and its SO important to remember to do nice things for each other On Friday FH worked late at the office and I was just home watching TV and had made dinner and asked him to stop and get some italian bread.

Well he shows up with bread, and a bottle of our favorite wine, and cheese and a giant pointsettia plant bc he knows I love Christmas.

We are definitely a good team. We always say that because we cook together and clean together and pretty much don't fight.

omg the card box helping made me 'awww ' out loud!! sometimes they are too cute!

i had such a terrible day at work on Sunday n when i picked him up after work>we dont live together yet> he hugged me as soon as he got in the car.. it sounds so dumb but something so simple really made me feel like everything just got lifted =)
with all the weddingey stuff hes been making me laugh when i get stressed.. we call every step in the process'the death of a bachelor' n he acts like hes fainting,like when i got hiome last night n the invites were there he acted woozey.. its dumb but it makes me laugh! Were def a good team, im calmer than him n he stands up for me when im being too wishy washy.. we def balance each other out =)

I was home sick from work yesterday and FH went out and got me all the cold meds I needed for the day and a chocolate shake to make me smile . I LOVE HIM!!

The sweetest thing FH did was surprising me by stopping by my house on the way home with the Christmas tree ready to be put it up in the house. Then he spent the night.

I do believe we are a team. When I'm busy between work and school and I have no time to get anything done, he will help me out by either feeding the cat for me in the morning when I have to rush out or clean the litter box.

Also I came home exhausted last week and the cat had thrown up a hairball. He cleaned it up for me.

Today I'm bringing him lunch and a hot cup of tea at work.

FH and I live together too and I definetly think we are a team.

I work late on Tuesdays, I don't get home until 8ish, last week all the laundry was done and folded when I came in

We had my parents over for their anniversary on Sunday so I made a big dinner and afterwards FH started cleaning up and did all the dishes without me even asking.

I have to say, for the most part FH is the cleaner. I work 2 jobs so he definetly picks up a lot of the slack at home but I'm the cooker. He also pays all the bills from our joint account and I make sure everything is balanced.

Well FH is upstate and I'm on long island so it's difficult right now but last week he came to visit me after my surgery for a couple days!! Soo sweet of him just leaving what he was doing up there to see me

fh and i live together too , we have 2 beuatiful girls 2and 4 yrs old.the other day he did all the laundry , clean the house , and iron my uniform .
i think him last night by making his favourite dinner

Yesterday, without being asked, FH pulled the roasted chicken breast off the bone for me while I was making salad so that I could drop it on my salad and eat faster He knows I get cranky if I'm hungry

I also went to bed before him but when he came to bed he snuggled me and kissed me and said 'good night' and 'I love you.' But he always does that if I'm asleep before him

eta: Yes, I think FH and I make a really good team. We just work well together

Is it terrible that I can't think of anyting besides that he paid for dinner on Sunday

Oh, also, when I had my interview on Thursday he wrote directions for me.

Usually he's a PITA though
