Wasn't it supposed to be sunny today? Sorry thats not the question, just looking outside and finding myself depressed again.
Here is my question....
We have had the question several times, how involved is FH in the wedding planning. Well here is a different question around that...
How involved are the men in your life in the planning? Not just FH. Your father, grandfather, brother, uncle, male best friend? Has anyone surprised you?

My dad stayed out of it unless we asked him questions, although he was a very excited dad! He kept talking about the weather and how he hoped it would be beautiful so we could enjoy the outdoor scenery. As far as planning, though, he let the women do their thing and stayed away
DH was VERY involved. I loved it! From choosing the vendors to cutting paper and tying ribbons, DH helped and contributed from beginning to end. That's why I miss planning so much - we had a lot of fun together with it!

The FH is very involved! I try to include him in everything...whenever we need to pick out something i make sure we both agree on it! altho i told him he can pick out the save the date and i didnt like the one he picked out! hahaha Buuuttt other than that! we both have to agree! He has come with me to every vendor, helped put together the invitations, and the favors! he actually likes things like this! He had a blast registering too!
and My Dad is also very involved concidering he is paying, but besides the money is in charge of keeping the guest list in order! my dad is very creative so i like his ideas! He is also looking into getting us the photo booth that i want really bad because he has a connection!

OK here is my answer...
My FH has been decently involved, but its my father who has been super involved from day 1. Partly because my mom took a while to come around and partly because he wanted to be involved.
He came to all the RHs to look, took charge of the music, came into the city to see my final dress choices, went with my mom to see her final dress choices and insisted we plan the tasting so he could be there. He even came to the florist and the invitation store. I think he was really upset he couldn't come to my first dress fitting last week and that he is in China for our florist appointment tomorrow. I had to plan our menu meeting for when he is back from China.
He even came to a bridal show.
Its been funny and surprising how involved dad has been.

FH has been amazing. He has helped with whatever I need and has gone with me to every appointment with vendors. My brother has helped me with th card box and as it gets closer I know will help me with all the DIY stuff hes more creative then Iam lol. As for my dad hes been helpful by asking whatsgoing on and stuff. I also no hes been saving a lot for us, We are paying for it ourselves but at least I know he will be giving us a generous gift and that will help us a lot. All in all I have some wonderful men in my life :)

FH has been a bit of a groomzilla. He hasn't quite made up his mind if he could care less about the wedding (and sometimes, I think, getting married), or that he has to control every aspect of the planning. It's frustrating to say the least.
I don't have any brothers, and I'm not close with FBIL, so the only other 'man in my life' is my father, and he's been pretty involved, but not overly. He has a lot of contacts in the industry so I've been hooked up with a friend of a friend for the dresses, had some hook ups with djs, rhs, limos...just I feel almost obligated then, and I don't like that feeling, because I haven't used any of his guys except for the dresses. FH's uncle has been involved with limo suggestions as well.

The only male i have in my life is FH and he has been somewhat helpful at times he gets into his ranting and raving over how big the wedding has gotten but overall he has been ok.

FH is verrrry helpful. He is very involved
My dad throws in his 2 cents all the time, which is cute and offered to put together our invites lol. He is excited about it all.
My brother needs a good smacking.
My FFIL probably wont even make it to the wedding (in no mood for the drama)

FH is involved on a very cursory level. It doesn't help that he's OOT (he's here this week). He's enthusiastic and encouraging about everything when I tell him about it (for the most part -- sometimes it's overkill) but he can't really be planning a lot of the specifics.
My dad has been extremely helpful. I've involved him a lot since he's footing a good portion of the bill. This weekend FH, my dad, and my bro are all coming to the tasting! That's going to be lots of fun!
No surprises -- well, except maybe that my dad isn't MORE involved -- but it's been such a fun process planning!

FH has been very involved. From stuffing envelopes to making our card box. He also came with me to every vendor meeting except the florist (I knew he would care less about flowers so I gave him a break on that one!) He even gave some input on the BM's dresses!
As for the other men in my life: Dad came to RH when we booked. He's footing the bill for the entire wedding so every time I came back from a vendor we went over costs to make sure we were in budget.
I haven't seen my brother in a year and a half. His GF/Son's mother is a pyscho and has got him seriously in her grips.
