Tuesday's QOTD

Tuesday's QOTD

Good morning ladies! I keep sitting down to write today's QOTD and getting back up for something.

For today's question, read on.

bucket list.
A list of things to do before you die. Comes from the term 'kicked the bucket'.

I'm sure that some of us have mentally thought about things that we'd like to do at some point in our lifetime. Now that you have someone spending your life with you, some of these things may or may not change.

So, blushing brides of 2009, I ask you to write me a bucket list of things that you would like to do with FH in your lifetime.

It doesn't have to be a complete list but I'm excited to read about everyone's big and small dreams.

Happy Tuesday.

Buy a home, have children, (for me, the luxury of not having to work after we have children), travel to all of the countries of our heritate (Greece, Italy, Switzerland, and Ireland), have a beach home on the North Fork, and open an upscale Greek restaurant as a family venture. Nothing too lofty or far fetched besides the restaurant really.

In this order: I want to start and finish my MBA, travel like mad, get house, have kids and enjoy my life to the fullest.

Enjoying it could be as simple as having a picnic on a sunny day, traveling to china or seeing my kids go to college and get married too. Overall I want to be happy before I 'kick the bucket'.

Re: Tuesday's QOTD

Well, for starters I'd like a bigger house at some point but it can wait. I also don't want to have kiddos running around while we live on the water, it makes me nervous.
Three kids
Traveling but since we're waiting 11 months to take our HM we're going to do a world cruise next summer I think which will take some of that off the list. I've traveled a lot but FH has not (nor does he care one way or the other) but I cancelled a Japan trip last summer, I have friends in New Zealand, I want to see more of Italy, go to Paris, maybe Ireland.
FH has to finish his masters

That's all I can think of right now. The list that I wrote when I was 17 is almost done, although I didn't make it to Prague.

EDA: FH wants me to add 'buy a bigger boat'...not gonna happen, I don't even want the one we have now.

hmmmm....our goals at this point would be....

buy a house
have a baby or two
once the kids are of school age move to north carolina
retire to the tampa, fl area.

we'll fill in the rest once we get this started!

oh so many. . travel for sure (italy, aus, new zealand, thailand, india, brazil . . basically EVERYWHERE so i'll stop listing)

buy a house/apartment

then we really have a lot of separate goals. . FH start his own company, remodel our 'country house' which we don't have since we don't even have a non country house

I want to publish a book, and win a TONY!!

all really achievable right?

You want to live in the two places I have lived! Both are great, but word of advice to you....when you have kids, let them spend all of their school years in one place. I lived in 4 states by the time I was a sophmore in HS!

Re: Tuesday's QOTD

Not in any particular order:

-Travel all 50 states
-Travel to Europe, Austraila, Africa, Asia, New Zealand...the list could go on and on
-Have Babies
-Provide for my children the way my parents were able to provide for me
-Open my own business so I no longer have to 'work for the man'
-Learn to fly a plane
-Learn to drive a motorcycle
-Buy a bigger house or make my current house bigger

hmmmm...so much more, but my brain is malfunctioning at the moment
