****Tuesday's QOTD**** :o)
So today's questions is...
Does FH still flirt with you? (Do you still flirt with FH?) Who does what? Give your flirtiest examples (I have no idea if that's a word by the way)...
and if not, do you miss and think you might start it up again?
my answer: i think that the flirtatious element is really important in any relationship, even if it's not that often. We definitely went through a period of not flirting at all. Lots of things/life got in the way. ugh, we missed it! But a few years ago we noticed it and we talked about that very thing and decided that was so not cool and wanted to make sure we still had that fun-loving vibe in our relationship. I definitely still flirt with my FH. I send him cute txts sometimes, try to say unexpected things once in a while (in a genuine way of course). I don't think i'm as good at is as him BUT... FH definitely flirts with me. My favorite, most recent example (and the inspiration for this question) occurred in the supermarket. (If you've ever seen My Blue Heaven with Steve Martin, you'll get this reference)... we do grocery shop together - we often split up with separate parts of the list to get in and out quick. well last week i was in the frozen food section getting frozen veggies and it went something like this:
FH : You know, it's dangerous for you to be here in the frozen food section.
Me: Why?
FH: Because you could melt all this stuff.
it's so funny because he said it in front of some lady and other guy - they were eavesdropping :o) ...so it's cute stuff like that, he lets me know he's still into me. we're quirky and weird sure, but we definitely work at maintaining the spark.
