I did read this book years ago.....it touched me like no other book touched me. Although I can't remember the details to participate in your discussion, I remember reading it when Chris and I had a 3 month break up in our relationship. I was completely devastated and depressed. This book inspired me to go on with my life - that when I think I have it bad, I know someone else has it worse. I weeped like a baby, but it was worth that cry!!!!!!!
