I wanted tulips sooooo badly. Alas, my florist said that they are not hearty enough to hold up the whole night. He said he couldn't even guarantee them standing up when I walked down the aisle. Definitely speak to your florist about this - he said this is the reason you don't see more tulips in weddings.
