so i tried on yet another 100 dresses today (or so it seems...)
i originally thought i wanted a strapless, A-line gown with beading on the top and bottom.
after trying a bunch on, the saleslady went downstairs and brought up some of their discontinued samples in my size. my mom, aunt and i fell in LOVE with one dress, and it's so reasonably priced!!!
has anyone else bought a sample dress? the dress is in good condition--just needs some beads sewn back on, no biggie.
also, has anyone recently bought a tulle ballgown?? it's very traditional looking, so i guess i'm worried that it's 'out of style' (which i wouldn't really care about i don't think.)
just need some words of advice!

Re: tulle Ballgown/sample question
My dress was not a sample but it was a tulle ballgown. I loved it! I used to be a ballerina so for me it was totally, 100% what I wanted. It's not out of style at all; I do see some brides on here with them. Here are some pics of me and my gown! It was by 2Be Bride.
My gown is also tulle/ball gown and I love it..Definitely not out of style.....

Re: tulle Ballgown/sample question
mine is not a tulle ballgown, but I definitely don't think its out of style, not at all!! I don't really know much about buying the sample off the rack. I would get some sort of guarantee that if you can't get stains out or repair the beading you can get your money back.

Re: tulle Ballgown/sample question
my sister got her dress at kleinfelds, there was an error made on a special order, and so they had this one of kind 'sample'. it worked out perfect, she needed it taken up, and taken in a touch in the back...but it was her dress from start to finish....

Re: tulle Ballgown/sample question
My gown was a sample. It needed a little cleaning and a bit of the beadwork in front needed to be fixed but it wasn't a problem at all. My gown retailed for more than twice what I paid for it so I was very excited to be able to buy the sample. It doesn't sound like much needs to be done to your gown, so I say go for it.
