Tungsten - Titanium - Tungsten Carbide Bands??? HELP
So FH and I were talking last night. We are getting white gold wedding bands since we both like the look of white metals. FH is concerned about beating his up, he is EXTREMELY hard on jewelry, and is worried that he is going to wreck even the thickest of bands. We were online saw Tungsten, titanium and tungsten carbide wedding bands which they promote as being virtually indestructable. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge about that? I am going to look more today online and see what I come up with. I think this might end up being his everyday alternative to wearing his gold wedding band. I just need to figure out which is the best choice, straight tungsten, straight titanium or the tungsten carbide blend
Here is a tungsten carbide ring:

Yes! FH just bought his wedding band in tungsten carbide! It is gorgeous!!! The guy from the jewelry store even let FH take a metal file to it to prove it wont be dented! I was so nervous, but not a scratch! They also give a free warranty on sizing. Since it cant be sized, they will give him a free ring, whatever size he needs for 10 years, in case his fingers change! It looks just as nice at platinum! I will post pics when we pick it up this weekend! Love it!

Awesome! From what I did read already is that tungsten carbide cannot be sized or engraved. Will def. look into a jeweler that offers a trade in/up program on their rings (in case his finger size changes). Thanks so much for the info!!

We went to this little jewelry store in Carle Place, or Westbury area, across from the Source Mall, called From Italy with Love. Something like that. FH's parents have always gone there. Really great people to work with . . .and GREAT price!!! In case you are out that way!
