turkey!!

Ladies!! What's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I can't believe it's in a week! Share your favorite thanksgiving dish!

I actually kinda hate Turkey unless it's on a sandwich... so leftovers are cool

but I am ALLLL about the dessert... almost any dessert.... mmmmmmmmm.....

I make stuffed mushrooms.. and FMIL loves it cause thens he doesn't have to do it.

I'll be at FIL's house with FH ( he still lives there) but I'm gonna miss my Dad (he's in PA and I couldn't get Friday off to be able to go out to see him)

FH and I are heading over for early celebrations to my brothers house in the Bronx at around 1:30. I'm excited because 1) this is the first year FH has been able to attend our family's Thanksgiving and 2) it's my nephew's first Thanksgiving.

I am going to be making a Chocolate Pudding and Brownie Whipped Cream Trifle (looks so good!)

Afteward, we are going to his aunt's house in Astoria for FH's family's Thanksgiving celebrations (probably going to start around 5:30ish). For them, I am either going to make and Apple Pie or I am going to get a cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory. FH wants the cheesecake so most likely that's what I'll wind up bringing,

I am so excited... love this Holiday season!!!

This year FH and I are heading to the parade at the butt crack of dawn bc we've never been and our friends asked us to go. So why not right?

Then we're heading to my parents house when we get back. It's going to be less full and quiet this year so i'm kind of sad. (2 out of 5 sisters live out of state and can't make it in.)

I'm not a fan of regular turkey either...but i do love those yams with the realllly crunchy top that my mom makes. (really funny story about these yams. For years my mom told me that its an old family recipie and that she'll teach it to me when i'm older. So when I learned how to read...turns out the recipie that was oh so secret...was on the side of the canned yams. )

im so excited for Thanksgiving!!!! We're going to FH's Aunt's house for dinner, then to my Mom's for dessert. Tuesday, I'm making a pumkin cheesecake (new recipe plus I'm gonna use my new KA mixer so I'm excited to try this!) and Wednesday I'll be baking 2 pecan pies - One for Mom's and one for FH's family

do you have a recipe? this sounds good!! My mom makes zucchini and eggs with lots of grating cheese and its soo delish

FH and I will be with my family @ my house! We usually have my family- 4 my grandparents- 2 and my cousins fam- 4 but this year its just my fam FH and grandparents! Oh well, my mom is the most amazingggg cook and thanksgiving food is the best!! My moms making turkey, corn, stringbeans, cornbread, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes dry and wet stuffing and im sure other things i am forgetting!! But i cant wait!!!

Everything sounds delish!

We're going to my sister's house...just the immediate fam this year, but it's my nephew's first thanksgiving, so we're all looking forward to eating turkey in front of him! My fav is probably the stuffed mushrooms, and the stuffing...with cranberry sauce.

We are going to be at my uncles house... there is a lot of us somewhere around 20ish! I love it!!
Im making string bean caserole --My fav!!! and i also love cornbread stuffing and stuffed artichokes!!! and i dont love turkey but i eat a little bit of it cause its thanksgiving right!

well usually FH and I split on Thanksgiving but not this year...now that we are engaged... ah haha..

anyway.. we live in the apt upstairs in my parents house so we are going to start and end here... anitpasta and dessert here and dinner at FH familys house....

should be yummy....

my fav Thanksgiving food is this broccoli casserole thing my mom makes.... its YUMMY!!!!

I'm going to FH's family's house for Thanksgiving.

It's the first year that I will not be celebrating thanksgiving with my family
FH came to my family's Thanksgiving last year, so now it's my turn.

I think FH and I are going to visit my mother first. My parents are divorced so we need to make sure we see everyone. After my mothers, we are going to see his family.. It should be a great day. I'm thinking about making pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake to bring as a dessert.

I'm looking forward to turkey, yams with marshmellows and brown sugar, and green been casserole
