I heard there isn't much to do, basically just to relax. Is that true?

Also, where did you stay?

is it expensive?

It is quiet. DH and I wanted a place to relax. We stayed at Point Grace...all couples. It also depends on where you stay. Sandals and Beaches were more crowded and there is a Club Med there too. I'm sure these resorts have more to do.

The water is absolutely amazing! Beaches are white! There are trips to the other islands of turks and caicos....you can parasail - ringos - all the fun watersport stuff.

Food was expensive, but that is pretty much the norm in the carribean islands. We had a great time though. We rented a jeep and rode around the island - some of the houses there are unbelievable! We swam and took the sun. It was extremely relaxing and peaceful.

Ok, februarybride..you should be a travel agent..lol. I want to book it right now. We are looking for a relaxing vacation, we can party in Vegas for Labor Day. We were thinking of renting one of those huts on the beach. I know they have them in St. Thomas. Do you know if they have here? I will have to call my travel agent.

Thanks so much for the info!!!

I heard it is very nice there. I have a friend that goes every year to Club Med. Just so you know, it is a big singles place. Unless you dont care, you may want to look somewhere else to stay.

it was the best time of my life!!! I went to club med with my grlfriend, we met about 20 girls from Manhattan, new york area. Now two of them are very good friends of ours. There is so much to do there, and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous!!!

Re: Turks and Caicos

We went there to our honeymoon and loved it!
It is a great place to relax and enjoy each other. It isn't the biggest party place but we didn't want that!
We went parasailing, kayacking, snorkeling, etc...
There is a lot of those kinds of things to do..
Not much shopping...
Great for a romantic getaway!
