Turned down

Turned down

I called my Aunt today and asked her to do a reading at the church and she said no. She said she is much too quiet to do a reading. Now I have to decide on someone else. I was asking her to do a reading in honor of my Grandmother who passed in March.

Re: Turned down

My aunt initially seemed horrified at the idea when I asked her and basically said no. I told her I wasn't taking no for an answer and that she will just have to live life on the wild side for a day and conquer a fear. (We are very close so I felt comfortable saying this.) So far, she is still planning to do it, I'll let you you know how it goes.

Re: Turned down

Since I am having a small bridal party, I asked 2 of my VERY close girl friends to each do a reading. If I were having a large bridal party, they would be in it. I plan on having a special rememberance mentioned by one of them for my father who has passes away and I also plan on mentioning IN MEMORANDUM to my dad on my ceremony programs.

It is hard because some people feel uncomfortable in front of a large group. I am sure you will find someone else to do and it will be great.
