don't worry i felt the same way about 25 - everyone older made fun of me for it but all my friends felt like i did - and i don't know why - it just feels more like an adult age even though you have been adult for a while - plus you are close to 30 then 20

Enjoy your birthday! Before I turned 25 everyone was like it's all down hill from here, but you know what they were WRONG!! My life has been a lot better since turning 25!

thats how I feel! I am no longer 'early twenties'.. And, now in the 25 - 30 bracket... I am now late 20s
I'm afraid even going to the party, I don't wanna drown my sorrow in alcohol, get drunk and embarrass myself. I really have to be careful!

good luck - your spirits will change when you are having fun - just drink a glass of water between each drink and you can go a lot longer

I turned 25 a month ago and I felt the same way. Still kinda do. But I got drunk and that made everything better

What's so bad about being closer to 30?????
I'm 31 and for me, thirties are way better than my twenties. . . my twenties was all about being uncomfortable in my own skin and growing up and dealing with expectations. In my 30's I'm so much more self aware, dont get intimidated by much and am so much more confident.
If I knew I'd enjoy my 30s so much I'd have just as soon skipped my 20s.

You only get better with age, trust me! I am facing my 35th in three weeks and its a little upsetting but overall my 30's have been fabulous. I have friends in their 40's who say its the best!

I had a student in my class upset the other day because he just turned 20. . . he said 'I'm so old!!!!!!'

they say that 40s are the new 30s.. so i think that makes 30 the new 20 and 20 the new... 10? so logic would say that youre only 15 then!!! so sneak out, stay out past curfew.. sneak a beer, moon a cop, flash a stranger in the street, and then hang out in a park all night with your friends hey, if you get arrested, you could always tell them This logic, and that they could only try you as a Minor
With that being said, i'm going to make myself a cup of tea, watch the golden girls, and hit the sack around 7:30 or 8... depends on how interesting jeopardy is tonight... oh wait, Jeoparady isnt on tonight... alrighty 7pm bedtime it is
