I'm sure you want the corset back so that it could be fitted perfectly to you; but if that can't be done and you want better aesthetics than just a zippered back, you can also ask them to order you the fabric colored buttons to sew on top of the zipper. I had inquired about this at one dress place. It was only about $60 more.
I remember someone posting on here that they had turned a zippered back into a corset back. Sorry I can't help you, but hopefully that person will see this post and help you out.
i'm thinking of having that done depending on the dress i choose. i was told that any dress with a zipper can be turned into a corset...i guess it all depends on the seamstress..
I had mine turned into a corset back from a zipper and it turned out great!! Unfortunately I can't help you with a seamstress as mine was done in Ohio. There are Pics of it in my album i think...
